Merged Google and Youtube Accounts

Thursday, August 21st, 2008

I just merged my google accounts and youtube account together so they keep tabs of everything together. It’s not really as convenient as before because I don’t really care if they are merged or not but it was bugging me so I did it.

Do you guys have your google and youtube accounts merged?

The people Search

Tuesday, August 19th, 2008

IF you need international dialing codes or want to search up people about their backgrounds, marriage details and basically everything about a person then you can go and search on the Search People Directory. You will be fed with all the information you can ever wish for about any one in the world. Some of their service includes U.S. area/city code, marriage and divorce records, employment screening, background checks, criminal search, sex offender search, identity theft, real estate reports, tracking a package, country calling codes, international directories, international dialing, international area/city code, and a World Clock.

So if you want to track a package you are expecting or you want to call a country in Asia but you have no idea about the Area code, then you can look it up. Visit SearchPeopleDirectory.com for more information. They have everything you need in order to contact others as well as thrive yourself with worldwide knowledge.

I have used the Search People Directory my self just to test it out. So far I have liked how the searches are handled and how easy it is to use. Many other search engines whether they are people search or web search, don’t really make it easy. But Search People Directory will make you love their search and will make you want to use it more and more in the future.

Mobile Broadband

Tuesday, August 5th, 2008

Have you ever heard of Mobile Broadband? This is broadband for your computer from any where you need internet. Just plug the broadband device into your laptop and connect to the internet. It is very convenient because you can get on the internet any time from any where if you have the device.

You can find services from Vodafone to T-Mobile. You can go to Broadband-Experience.co.uk for more information on the mobile broadband networks. Imagine connecting up to 7.2 megabytes per second of internet from anywhere and any time. And some will cost you as low as £10.00 per month which is very reasonable. So if you are always on the go, make sure you have mobile internet.

Net Outage

Monday, July 28th, 2008

At 1 am this morning the Internet went out and it gave me two hours of head ache. It was unexpected and I know i wasn’t going to get a response from my cable company at that time. But I did call any way.

I got a message saying they are upgrading something with the internet so my whole area has been experiencing problems all day. This explains lags I’ve faced all day. It was fixed and I am thankful it lasted just two hours and my IP was not reset. I would have been mad if it was.

Weird Firefox

Monday, July 14th, 2008

I’ve used firefox for years now and the past few days, I’ve been dealing with an unusual problem. When I open a new tab, I didn’t have to click the address bar so I can start typing. Now I do for some reason. It isn’t a huge deal but can be annoying at times when you don’t want to use your mouse.

And as I am typing this, I have had to submit this post from Opera because Firefox wouldn’t let me click the publish button for some reason. Like it was just an image, not a button at all. Very weird if you ask me.

New Domain for Server

Friday, July 11th, 2008

I stated last night that I am trying to set up my server so people can join the server through a DNS also known as a Domain rather than having to enter an IP. I was thinking of getting a new domain name for my whole server instead of using one in the name of my forum.

I will have to think about this a bit more because I do not want to just go ahead and spend more money on this and end up not using it in the future.

DNS

Thursday, July 10th, 2008

DNS Stands for Domain Name Servers and these are usually in replace of IP addresses so they stand for IP and they are much easier to remember because generally they are words rather than a bunch of random numbers. I am bringing this up because of my server.

I am trying to set up a DNS settings on there instead of Using an IP to connect. I have been trying for a few hours with absolutely no luck. I will keep on trying and if it works you better believe I will post info on how you can connect to my server using DNS instead of an IP.

IP Change

Thursday, July 10th, 2008

Last night I had a bit of trouble with my internet so I decided to restart my internet and I have to say that it was a HUGE mistake because it reset my IP. I now have a completely different IP and it has affected how people connect to my server.

I called my cable company earlier asking to change it back and I was told that it was not possible so I am a bit angry about that because I have promoted my server with that IP in many places and now I have to restart. Just sucks if you ask me.

Slowness Internet

Tuesday, July 8th, 2008

Well I am having a bit of trouble with my internet right now for some reason. It is giving everyone a higher ping no matter who is connecting which is a bit frustrating because I run a server and lag just makes things work.

I am hoping it’ll fix itself overnight and if it does not I have no other choice but to shut things down for a little while tomorrow and let the system relax for a bit. Hopefully I won’t have to resolve to that because it can be a hassle to get everything up and running perfectly all over again.

Proxies

Tuesday, July 1st, 2008

Proxies allows us to anonymously visit web sites we think that may be dangerous. It also helps us get around computer firewalls especially those in schools. Many people use Proxies to get around and I happen to own two of them just to help out others.

Many people use this to cheat in other websites that may have contests or something and that is bad, very bad. But you can’t really do anything to stop them. The thing is, these people aren’t usually smart enough to keep it up and will eventually get caught.

You can visit one of my proxies at HelpwithCoursework.info.
