I can’t believe it but I am almost done coding my template that I mentioned earlier today. If I can finish within tomorrow, it will be the fastest template I have ever designed and then finished coding at the same time. No other time have I done that.

Hopefully I can finish up by tomorrow night and set a new record for myself which is 3 days to complete a template compared to the weeks it used to take me. OH man, I am very excited about bringing this live if I can get on with my web hosting business Idea.

Yesterday for about 4 hours I was working on a new design for a new web site template. The theme is a web host and I plan to make it unique. I am planning on starting up a new web host but I don’t know when I will start it so I am working on the template.

If I Had to guess, in 4 hours I am nearly half done designing the thing. Note that I did not start to code the template yet, that will definitely take a little longer but hopefully I can finish soon. Since I start classes next week, I want to finish this thing before I start up. Wish me luck!

I am happy to say that Google has finally started to reindex the pages in my Forum. Over the past two days, about an additional 750 pages were added into their engine which is great. Hopefully they reindex all our pages and fill their engine with a ten thousand listings of them.

The forum actually has over a 100,000 links to be indexed and when only about 4% of the links are indexed in a search engine, it doesn’t look great. In Yahoo they have almost 60,000 pages indexed which is about 60% which is excellent. Hope google starts to do that as well soon enough.

Most hosts will allow you to make a few forms of payments. By this I mean the time length you pay for your services. For example there is monthly which is most often used, quarterly which is every 3 months, semi-annually which is every 6 months, and of course annually which is once every year.

Recently I changed it so I have to pay every quarter. This way I don’t have to remember to pay the bill 12 times a year, it’s just 4 times a year now. I have grown to trust my current host so I do not mind paying a few months ahead of time and you should do the same.

This month we celebrate the birthday of Gamers Forum. It can be found at Gamers-Forum.com. We established the forum at the end of August 2006. And on August 27th 2008, Gamers Forum will have turned 2 years old.

I am happy to have owned the forum from the beginning and I don’t look to ending this project of mine any time soon. I hope that in the next year, the forum will be much bigger and much better than it is now. Come by our Forum and join the celebration today!

Wordpress 2.6 was announced a week ago on July 14th and they have made a few improvement. We are currently on version 2.5 which is great as well. But hopefully I will get to upgrade the blog later on this week if not over this summer.

Wordpress does bring out updates every so often and they get better and better every time. I mean, i still remember the beta version a few years ago and back then it was the best, and now, they are even better.

The ~ Symbol means approximately and it is a bit of extimation. And I say ~70 pages is because it almost 70 pages indexed. More of 66 pages indexed in google which is excellent considered we don’t even have 60 posts on this blog yet and we have almost 70 pages indexed.

I can’t wait to get triple digit index page rates. The more pages we have on the search engines, the higher chance we have of getting more visitors to our blog and the bigger we will get in terms of comments, posts, and visitors.

About a week ago vBulletin announced its latest version called 3.7.2 and it is the latest and most stable version of the software. I currently host 3.7.0 which is also stable but not the latest. I never upgrade the same day the update was made.

I am going to test up the upgrade over this coming weekend and see how things go and if it is all smooth I will do the same with the live forum a little bit later. vBulletin always has the tendency to have some sort of bug left in the system so hopefully this one is stable and it will not disappoint me.
