Attacks from China
One of my other servers was getting so me DOS (Denial of Service) attacks from Chinese IPs earlier. I had to work for almost 2 hours to clear up the IPs and block out every single one. If I hadn’t done so it could have shut down our server completely rendering my level of expertise useless.
I am glad I was able to take care of it and hopefully it doesn’t happen again. The attack was on a new site that was put on the server and I assume the site brought the attack along with it from an old server. Hopefully his enemies have calmed down and found another way to spend their time. Truly annoying if you ask me.
